WORDS
Written by: Ahava © 2000

Words are spirit. They are spirit and life or they are spirit and death. All words that come toward you are spirit. They come toward you with a purpose. Spoken words either encourage you or knock you down. They either bless you or curse you. They come with life or death. They come to improve and build further the good that already exist in your life or to destroy the good that you have accomplished and built in your life. We are created in the image of God. God’s speech brought forth creation. Words have creative power when spoken.

Any destructive word spoken toward you or your family at any time, bind and uproot it at once. Do not accept it or allow it to get into your mind. Always respond. Always respond with the word of God.  This will bind the negative word from operating on your behalf. Do not receive it, do not meditate on it or allow it to have any place in your life or in the lives of your family who were spoken about. Send it on its way. Words are spirit either sent by God or sent by the enemy to set something in motion.

The spirit of God is released through your words toward anything assigned against you and your life. Your words stop death and produce life. Words are spirit. They are spirit and life or spirit and death.

All words spoken toward you are spirit. They come with a purpose, bringing either an assignment for life or an assignment for death. Friendships can die, relationships can die, and businesses can die, its just not physical death.  All words either bring edification or destruction. Any destructive word spoken toward you or your family at any time are to be bound and uprooted, out loud, at once and without delay.

Never agree with anything negative spoken to you. Always respond to it according to the positive word of God concerning your life. Listen carefully when people speak to you. Be attentive to every word. Realize where it is coming from and why. The bible tells you to listen much and speak little. There's a reason. We don’t fully listen (concentrate) when people are speaking to us. We’re not paying attention to what people are saying to us or about us. That’s why situations spring up and catch us by surprise. If we were really concentrating when we are being spoken to instead of our minds wondering, we would not be caught off guard so much.

Never receive words or meditate on them if they are contrary to God's word and blessing for your life. Allow those words to have no place over you and no place in your life or the life of your family. Send those words on their way, in the opposite direction at once. Stop them in their tracks. You do not have to behave like a religious nut; you just incorporate the word of God into your response in a natural tone of your voice.

Example:
When someone says to you this recession is going to make you lose your job. Respond by saying: I am not going to lose my job because that recession is not a part of my life. You will be sending their words back to where they came from.

Example:
When someone says you look like you’re getting sick. Ask them what does sickness look like? When I looked in the mirror this morning there was nothing there but me. No there’s no sickness here. You’ll be sending their words back to where they came from.

Example
:
When someone says your children will amount to nothing. Respond by saying great is the peace of my children and they are blessed by God. Their words will have no effect over your children and you will be sending those words back to where they came from. It’s that simple.

You do not have to scream or yell your response. Speak them in a normal tone. If people don’t like your response, they shouldn’t be speaking destruction over your life. Conversation is made up of people exchanging words. They speak negative, your speak positive, its called simple conversation.

Proverbs 12:6 (NIV)
The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood but the speech of the upright rescues them.
