Warrior on the Battlefield
Written by: Ahava
A true man or woman of God is not religious. They know God personally.
They commit their life to God and live unto him completely.
There is no compromise in any area of their life.
There are billions of people saying they are Christians, going to church, clapping their hands, singing songs, yet they don’t know God or live for Him. A pastor stands in the pulpit, gives a sermon and everyone goes away feeling they’ve done their Christian responsibility. This is not God – it is religious ceremony. It is dead and has no power in it. It just pacifies people.
Jeremiah 1 :5: (God says)
Before God formed you in the womb, God knew and approved of you as God’s chosen instrument. Before you were born, God separated and set you apart, consecrating you and appointing you to belong to Him.
There are many different avenues of prayer. One way is kneeling before God and speaking to Him but that is not the only way. God sees, hears and knows everything. God is ever observant over each individual even when that individual is not aware of God.
Prayer is the beat of your heart heard by the ear of God.
God is hearing the beat of your heart on your behalf personally.
A prayer is being pounded out by your heartbeat.
Prayer comes from the depth of your being.
It rises into the ear of God without you ever uttering a word.
The face of God beholds you and his eyes see right into your soul.
He knows the disappointment and the discouragement.
He knows all the hopes and dreams that were dashed to pieces.
He knows all the failures. He knows all the emotional hurts, pains and wounds.
He knows the confusion and the chaos all around you.
God knew there would be times of darkness that would surround your life.
God knew all that would take place in your life from beginning to end.
Yet it could not stop His love for you.
Yet it can not stop God’s present and future for you.
God has His hand upon you. He never has nor will He ever remove His hand from you. You belonged to Him from before conception, right up to the time you will stand before Him in heaven and He puts His arm around you saying, “Welcome home my son or daughter”.
Psalms 103 verses 8 thru 12:
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and
loving-kindness. He will not always chide or be contending, neither will He keep His anger forever or hold a grudge. He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully reverence Him. As far as the East is from the West, “so far” has he removed our transgressions from us.
God knows everything you’ve gotten into in your past and He knows everything you’ve done. But look at that scripture you just read. He removed it from you forever. He does not hold it against you. It was a part of your history. It’s how you grew up. It was normal behavior to you.
Jeremiah Chapter 29 verses 11 thru 14: (God says)
I know the plans I have for you. My plans are to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Call upon me and come and pray to me. I will listen to you. You will find me when you seek me with your whole heart. (You will find God because He is waiting for you to come)
Your past was not what God planned for you. It was your own road. Your own choice.
You were not alone on that road, you had plenty of help. People come into our lives every second. Each decision we make and each attachment we allow becomes an imprint of our history.
Yet, it wasn’t God’s plan for your life. His plan for your life was to prosper you without harm. His plan for your life was a future full of blessing and provision. Where you stand in your life today is what you built by your own choices. But God’s plan still stands for you right now in your present, which will lead you into your future.
Your past does not matter. Put it behind you, forget about it and relate to it no longer.
Your future depends on you making the right choices solely for yourself at this time.
Look within your own heart. What’s inside your heart?
God can hear your heart speaking. Listen to your own heart.
There is emptiness inside of you. There is a place that is not whole.
Your heart is still lonely and feeling empty. You cannot fill it on your own.
History is repeating itself upon you once again by your own decisions.
Respect is to know the value of. To respect someone means to avoid violation of that person. You are men and women worthy to come up to the highest level. You have value within you. You are worthy of respect in the highest form.
You must guard your heart and mind from putting yourself into a box of frustration.
Make a commitment to yourself that you are going to achieve greatness for your God and your country. When you return home, you will put in order everything that relates to your life. Do not concern yourself with that right now. Stay focused on the mission at hand. Fear nothing.
Look to God for the life that He has planned for you. Hold your head high and have respect for one another. You are Warfighters of the United States of America. Everyone back home believes in you, honors you, respects you and is waiting for you.
Never regret where you are when you are on the battlefield.
Never regret joining the armed forces to serve your country.
Never regret because we at home honor you, bless you and pray for you daily.
God Bless our Mission,
Sincerely,
Ahava
