Not of this World
written by: Ahava
Never be with someone who tolerates you, only be with someone who fully accepts you. I never associate with anyone who feels they have to "put up" with my commitment to the Lord. I only associate with people who have the "same commitment" to the Lord. What has light to do with darkness? Nothing.
Many confess Christianity. They are in a religious system doing a religious ritual. They go to church on Christmas and Easter, weddings and funerals, etc. Then there are those who go to church every Sunday. They sing and dance and clap their hands. They yell Hallelujah and praise the Lord. Yes, they are religious ones representing the establishment but not representing the Lord. They are not of the Holy Spirit if they are not living the gospel in their own lives.
Matthew 25:1-13
At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones took oil in jars along with their lamps (preparation). The bridegroom was a long time (your entire life) in coming and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight (unexpectedly) the cry rang out “Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!” All the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise ones, give us (do what we say) some of your oil, our lamps are going out. No, (do not submit to there demands) the wise ones replied; there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy for yourselves. But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with Him to the wedding banquet. The door was shut. (Time over)
Later the others also came. (there are no others, you're either in Christ or not.)
Sir! Sir! they said, open the door for us. But He replied “I tell you the truth, I DO NOT KNOW YOU. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
2nd Corinthians 6:14-18
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what does righteousness and wickedness have in common? What fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them and I will be their God and they will be my people. Therefore come out from them and be separated, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you and you will be my sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty.
Belial – A satanic personification of wickedness and ungodliness. To personify is when a demonic being is represented by a human figure through speech and behavior. The demon will manifest through another human in it's attack against a righteous one.
This is not to say the person attacking you or working against you is demon possessed. Your attacker can be under the influence of demonic forces in order to be used for satan's purpose of destruction against you, a group, a vicinity, a nation, etc.
When people are used to manifest demonic assignments against children or newly saved people, the purpose of this kind of assignment is to break the spirit of the child in order to drive him or her away from the Lord into a life of worldliness and to drive the new born Christian back into the world system before they become rooted and grounded in the word. Even in mature Christians these personified demonic attacks will take place against your life with the purpose of driving you away from the way of the Lord.
To the man or woman who is called and anointed of God for ministry purposes, these attacks will increase with a continual force such as one would be made to feel they are being pounded into the ground without any relief. This is a much higher level of attack on an anointed one. It is an onslaught with the intention of killing the anointed ones of the Lord. Demonic powers are assigned to kill the servants of the most high God who carry his presence and anointing. The anointing breaks the yoke; it is the power of God. The presence is the pureness of God's Holy Spirit. Both manifest and prove that Jesus Christ is the only true Messiah.
2nd Corinthians 7: 1
Let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
2nd Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, our weapons have spiritual power to demolish every assignment and stronghold against us. We demolish arguments and every false thing that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought and submit it to obedience to the truth of the word of God.
No matter what assignment is set up against you, do not take thought. Do not meditate upon it. Do not let your mind go over it again and again. This will cause whatever has happened to disrupt your life. It will get down into your heart.
Guard your heart above all things because out of the heart flows all the conditions involving your entire being. You will lose your peace. Once you lose your peace, you will lose your rest. Once you lose your rest, your health will become affected. This is all an assignment of the enemy to break down your system to weaken you and make you ill. Once he can make you ill, he can knock you out of the race. A lame man cannot run...
So what do you do with these assignments? Lets look to the word of God for the answer.
Psalm:34:1
I will lift up the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the Lord.
I will not get into the natural fight. I will not exchange word for word arguments. I will look toward the Lord and cast all my burdens upon Him. I will not use my mouth to speak contrary because my mouth is holy and gives praise to God. A fountain cannot pour forth pure and defiled waters at the same time. My mouth should never pour forth praise at one time and argument another time. My mouth will remain holy unto God.
Psalm 34:4
I sought the Lord and He answered me. He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This person called and the Lord heard; He saved him out of all his troubles.
I will not go to others with this problem. I will go to the Lord in prayer and seek His mind concerning this situation. I will tell the Lord all my concerns and my fears. I will look to God only and be covered in His glory and never be covered with the shame caused by others. I keep myself out of their midst and prevent the shame they will reap upon themselves from coming over upon me by being in their midst.
My God brings me out of all their assignments and the troubled they planned for me and my family will be the very trouble that falls upon them, even worse trouble than what they planned for me.
Psalm 34: 8
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.
There is blessing and goodness upon my head because I've stepped away from the assignment, directed my attention toward my Lord, and did not allow myself to be distracted from God's daily ordered steps for my life.
When these assignments come toward us, they are designed to pull us off the steps ordered for us for that day to prevent us from receiving what God has ordained to fulfill His purposes in our lives.
The more attention we give to these assignments, the more we become miss-focused and pulled off the path of our daily ordained steps of the Lord. This causes us to be robbed by the enemy of the divine connections the Lord had prepared to take us further into our destiny. It steals from us the opportunities prepared beforehand by the Lord and can even set us back and hinder and prevent important divine arrangements in order to bring things to pass in our lives.
These assignments are roadblocks to our divine appointments. Think carefully about whose voice you will follow each day. Think seriously if you will follow the voice of emotion or the voice of the Holy Spirit leading you each day.
The result will be daily hindrance or daily furtherance...
Psalm 34-12-14
Whoever loves life and wants to see good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
I have a good life which is peaceful. How did I get it? I turn my attention anyway from all evil being done toward me and do not speak about it at all. I do not pay it any attention. I am well aware of whose presence I am in and what spirit they are of. I am well aware of someone speaking to me with a smile on their face and contrariness in their heart toward me. It doesn't matter to me. I pay it no mind. They have nothing to do with my life. I keep my life submitted to the Lord. I keep my mouth from speaking contrary. My life is blessed by the words of my own mouth.
Psalm 34:15
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous. (His eye is always upon me)
His ears are attentive to their cry. (He always hears me)
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil. (He sees my enemy and is against them)
To cut off the memory of them from the earth. (Their assignment against me cannot prosper)
Even when they've upset me, hurt me and caused me and my family harm. Even when I remain steadfast in the word and trust God, my heart can still be broken through these assignments and even crushed.
What do I do then? This is the answer. I know this for sure.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18)
God Bless you and God Bless the Mission,
Sincerely,
Ahava
