I Heard Jesus Today

I heard Jesus today.
He said, Come walk this way. Out of the darkness and into the light,
I’ll take the wrong and I’ll make it right.
I have accomplished this by giving my life.
Come to me – heavy burdened and tossed, in me you will suffer no loss.
In me, you’ll find freedom and health; you’ll enter a realm of spiritual wealth.
 
I heard Jesus today.
He said, fear not man, he cannot take you out of my hand.
I was with you before you were born
I knew all that would come your way, all the right and all the wrong.
I heard your first cry as you came forth in birth.
I answered that cry, charging my angel to assist you on earth.
 
I heard Jesus today.
He said, I sat with you at your school desk.
I heard you pray for answers to your tests.
I watched you play in the school yard and I dined with you at lunch.
When the school bell rang and you were on your way home,
My angel and I never left you alone.
As you did your homework and then played with your dog,
I knew all that would come your way, all the right and all the wrong.
 
I heard Jesus today.
He said, seasons have passed, its graduation day,
time to begin learning in a brand new way.
I’ve waited all these years while they’ve prepared you for me
that you may begin to travel the journey of destiny.
All you were taught by mother and father;
was meant for me to take you farther.
All you were taught by teacher and by school;
They prepared you for me to teach you at the Master’s knee.  
 
They’ve prepared you with reading and writing too;
in order that I may open my scripture to you.
Now open the bible and begin to read of your God-given life provided by me.
It is filled with the “RIGHT” and none of the wrong.
To remove all your pain, my heart truly longs.
It is not yours to carry, I’ve provided the way
for you to live carefree beginning today.
 
I am the one who did suffer the shame.
I am the one who took all the blame;
In order to place upon you my Father’s Name.
 
I’ve walked this earth and was betrayed by man;
In order to give you my comforting hand.
I was nailed to the cross in rejection and hate;
That I may keep you in your God-given fate.
I became a prisoner, captive and bound;
In order that “In Me” your freedom is found.
 
Don’t let man do to you what was done to me.
I died in order for your soul to stay free.
When you’re in the midst of betrayal, abuse and fear;
Remember, I your Lord am always there.
Remember, I your Jesus am holding you near.
Remember, to Jesus, you are His only care.
 
Isaiah 46:3&4 :
You whom I have upheld since you were conceived and have carried since birth,
even to your old age and gray hairs; I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
